Cute Girls Doing Cute Rail Travel - where do I sign up?

Considering the topic and who is working on it, AOTY contention is my high expectation.

Really? The director previously worked on "Saikin Yatotta Maid ga Ayashii" (a poorly animated, visually bland anime). The studio worked on TOHAI and Daily Life of a Middle-Aged Online Shopper (both have laughably poor animation and bad art). On one hand, this is a CGDCT anime, a genre that is actively hard to fudge-up. But then again, Tamayomi exists... so ugh.

Director that worked on Yuru CampΔ (the greatest anime of all time) and Hokkaido Gals Are Super Adorable! (well done with faults being with the source material). Script writer that did "Ippon" Again! (an excellent CGDCT anime).

The description in the news for the director is a bit misleading. He directed the 2nd OVA episode of the first season of Yuru Camp. Which is only 8 minutes long. Not even a full episode and you are misreading that even further as him having a full director position for the show.
