Pretty decent lineup for me. Some Jump stuff I’m interested in, the Star Wars manga looks good, I’ll probably read Assassin’s Creed at some point, and more Itagaki and Yazawa manga is always a good thing.

So glad we're finally getting Cocoon, it's been at the top of my wishlist for ages now! Will be picking up I'm No Angel and Half is More as well, and Taika's Reason and Champion of the Rose look interesting.
That being said, it's really been disappointing how few Shojo Beat titles we've gotten for the 20th anniversary. The Nana 2-in-1 is a rerelease, Magical Girl Dandelion already was a simulpub, and the two completely new SB titles we got this time were safe bets from Io Sakisaka and Ai Yazawa. So many SB titles are finishing up, we should be getting more to replace them. |

I've been reading Hima-ten on Manga+ and it's a nice teen romance, nothing ground-breaking but it's been extremely enjoyable with likable characters and no major drama so far, but things have started to change and I'm looking forward to seeing some drama...we will see...

Ooh! Alice in Borderland sequel! I'll definitely check that out.
New Io Sakisaka manga was a given...and it's a given I'll also read it. Boichi takes on the Western, feels like a good fit. Ultimate Exorcist Kiyoshi and Shinobi Undercover make sense. I will definitely pick up Hima-Ten! in print. Cocoon! Cool! Sakamato Days novel is nice! Another Paru Itagakai exploration about humanity and beasts...and probably some horny romance. Half is More sounds really interesting. First ever Ai Yazawa work? Neat. Sad to see the King's Beast end...but I'll be there for the final volume. (I'm not getting a Syd Craft print release am I...) |
