This has to be atleast the same quality as Kizumonogatari (that was delayed as hell too).
It was expected but....dude, i really hope its not a year long delay again.

They have to wait a month to even come up with a new release date, this production has been so cooked

Multiple delays? Just your typical SHAFT production.

The trailer from a few weeks ago had "Coming 2026" without a day or even a month, so I was kind of expecting this.

I'm afraid that Shaft will go bankrupt if this film gets canceled. If this happens, what was going to be the next Evangelion (a franchise with a lot of troubled production) will became the next Mega Man Legends (the orphaned series) instead. We're so close, and this thing happens all over again. Why?
The Japanese animation industry is in the same rough patch as the American one. Numerous announced animated movies produced in Japan get canceled due to production or various circumstances. We need to stop this crisis right now. And the American animation industry is in frozen state because a lot of upcoming cartoons, especially the ones from Cartoon Network/Warner Bros., were canceled. Also, the fact that Tetsuya Iwanaga's latest voice-over work was back in 2013 doesn't sit well with me. What do you think?

That was for the international release (as is the norm for those to be vague suggestions), the Japanese trailer still said February

Gotta love when there’s an announcement of an announcement… *sigh* hopefully this will be the last delay for the movie…

Nah, I'm over this movie, I'm sorry.
This latest delay is, quite frankly, unacceptable.
I have Rebellion, but as far as I'm concerned, the original series was brilliant on its own and didn't need anything else.
I could spend the time waiting for this movie watching Spirited Away for the 50th time and still see something new.

uh what no EVA had budget issues and scope issues legends was a failed game series that left its 2nd game on a cliffhanger for no reason Warner is fully off topic (and is at&t stock crap plus shit ceo) and Tetsuya Iwanaga has done a ton of work post 13' he does Giri's voice for gundam extreme vs (from crossbone gundam manga)

At least, I am sure the movie has been completed (see trailers), but delayed due to a strong competition from the big movies in Japanese cinemas. What do you think?

These many delays make me nervous for the film's future, but as long as it does eventually get released, I'll wait for it forever.
