This was still a great idea on both a story and marketing front, but it would've been nice if people hadn't immediately gotten all the voice lines out of the toys and figured out who Eclair was going to be from matching her VA lol

Maybe I've been lucky but I haven't seen any of the toy spoilers yet.
Personally I want it to be Eriza but I know she's probably the least likely candidate lol |

The voice matching trick was certainly a killjoy, and the result was the most obvious: spoiler[Eclair is named after a patisserie and Kurea Howa looks like Hercule Poirot.] Now the question is, is Shushutan the blue chouchou in her hair?
Same here i really want it to "finally" be Eriza, she was so cute on the cat episode. |

Not spoiling myself, but as much as I want it to be the writer girl (she's my favorite), or the student who knows about Pochitan, the name is... kinda a dead giveaway, if I'm right, to the bakery lady. She's most prominent of the side characters in the opening, too.

This is actually nice, first they revealed Eclair right before the series begun airing an now they wthey want us to guess who is her civilian persona. I haven't been spoiled yet and not looking to it but I want her to be Kurea just because she's voiced by Ikumin. That will put her on my list of my favourite VA who voiced a Precure characters along with Ueshama, Aoi Yuki, Rieri.

This almost reminds me of the time Saban did that whole campaign where they had viewers try to guess who the Gold Ranger is in Power Rangers Zeo which ended up being "none of the above" as it was someone completely different.
At the very least, we have actual candidates, and I doubt Toei will pull a bait and switch like what Saban did. |

This reminds me of Umineko, except the producers of that one knew not to ruin the mystery and used extra voice actors to avoid spoiling the reveal.

I love that they're doing the next Precure reveal this way. So much more fun than it being glaringly obvious. Makes me think back in the days of Fresh when they hyped up the identify of the mysterious fourth cure. It seemed like a foregone conclusion, then they pulled a huge bait and switch and it ended up being someone completely different.
