I'm now wondering where the rumors of a guy getting arrested came from. Did Babel Fish translate investigation as arrest or something?

If the source for that post really was 4ch or 2ch, then I think it'd be safe to guess the arrest thing was probably fake.

Mmm thats right, I forgot the msg said it was from 4ch, a US entity, and not 2ch, the Japanese entity, so it was definitely bogus...

I'm skeptical of the explanation but the important part is that there won't be any delays. We'll have to see if they changed it, but I'm not expecting them to.

Makes sense to me- Bandai's been running the Bandai Channel for years now, so periodic testing to prevent piracy from the site is probably a normal thing. Looks like it backfired on them this time.

FYI--- Bandai Channel is a subscription/payfordownload based website Bandai's been running for about 6 years now animenewsnetwork.com/news/2002-03-13/bandai-channel-press-release and is where Wings of Rean originally debuted [they streamed a low quality version of the first ep for free... I need to get those Honneamise R1 dvds of it...]

It's very possible that in the heat of the investigation someone WAS arrested, and then released when it turned out it was a mistake. That kind of thing is pretty common, especially when it's an investigation that has media attention; the cops are under a lot of pressure to arrest someone.

So the ending of next week's episode was leaked. It won't really matter in a week. It's not like the ending of the entire series was leaked.
