Kurokami is slipping toward a year delay.
My Rightstuf order that had the first part on it was made 3/17/09, can't remember the original release date, but I wanted to monetarily support the simultaneous dubbing and release.... guess someone balked. I really am pulling for Bandai, things must be tough. 7 Episodes of Hayate subbed is still a bargain for $23 on sale, that show is comedy gold to me. Edit: As for the releases, already own em all or have them preordered. |

Does the length indicate that the OVA's included or is it only the series? |

Yay for the Lucky Star boxset. I've been waiting for this before purchasing it, since I rather get it on boxset for artistic (I have a weird sense of what I think looks more appealing) and shelf reasons (unless RightStuf places the singles in the Bargin Bin, then I will get those for the sake of saving money XP). I doubt the OVA is included in this though, since [I personally think] it would be a little weird having a sub-only episode on a hybrid boxset (unless it's going to be an extra or something).
Nay on the Eureka Seven movie getting pushed back. It makes me wonder why, since I would've thought that would be set and ready to go with as much time from the one-night theater release of the movie to February. |

Well, we can have simultaneous releases, but you can expect to be paying a premium for them, like with Gundam Unicorn. I just can't see us getting it all: a decently priced release, with a dub, and at the same time as Japan. It's going to be missing one of those factors. In Unicorn's case, the price is high. If it wasn't, what would stop the Japanese from eventually catching on to it? Since they're so pedantic, you could change the covers; that might work. Regardless of if it is or not (usually it's not), the anime companies round up the running time of episodes with the OP, ED, and next episode preview included, to be roughly 25 minutes. You can do the math from there. So no, this does not include the OVA. Funny though, because you minus all the parts of the episode that do not matter, you get a severely reduced amount of time. Well over an hour of time for a show like that. |

The running time for each of the 6 singles was 100 minutes, so it all adds up to just the series. I don't think that they'll add in the OVA, but who knows. |

The anime legends set of Lucky Star seems like a definite purchase for me. Would be better if they included the OVA and dubbed the OVA. But I'm not gonna complain. Probably gonna pick up Kurokami as well. I enjoyed what I saw of it on Bandai's official Youtube channel.

Yes! Finally I can get a cheap box set of Lucky Star! I can't wait until I can finally own this series, I've been waiting far to long to own it and the time is finally here. This is a must have on my list, so most likely going to end up pre-ordering it. Eureka Seven -good night, sleep tight, young lovers is another must have for me. I got to see this movie in theaters and I loved it. Just a really imaginative re-telling of an awesome series. Plus the ending credit song is by iLL which is amazing.

I'm curious on the packaging for Kannagi. Based on the 3D coverart from Mania, it looks huge. That means they either repackaged the two discs into a brick, gave it a Complete Collection enders box (wishful dreaming) or put the two singles into a slipcover. Not a huge fan of the landscape orientation, though. I'm still a tad disgusted(maybe too strong a word) that they, again, have more delays than releases. Bandai makes me

I'm curious about the AL set of Lucky Star. I wonder if it will have all the liner notes that came with each DVD included as one big insert or if it will not include them. I already have the LS singles so I probably won't get the AL set unless something happens to my singles.
