Greetings!
I'm new to manga and only have a few, but am wondering about dollarmanga.com as I have recently stumbled in on the site. I notice that a lot of the manga there I have never heard of or know nothing about. I am amazed at the price of the manga; however, is the manga extremely horrid that they are selling at the price such as a dollar, two dollars, and so on?
Thanks!

You mean you never heard of Crayon Shinchan? Dude you are new to manga.
Alot of other good title, WEED & Midnight Eye.
Dollarmanga sell only comicsone manga. Comicsone unfortunately don't license many popular title and focus a lot on kungfu and chinese comic. Because they're not as popular as say Love Hina, they don't sell that well. Even though it's not popular doesn't mean they're not enjoyable though. Dollarmanga only seller the older released manga as newer manga are solder for higher prices.
Also Shaolin Soccer (hong kong) manga and My Sassy Girl (korean) manga are based on very very popular asian movies . But then again you're probably new to asian movie too, so I figure you wouldn't known that.

I guarantee that despite its status in Japan most people who like manga right now have never heard of Crayon Shinchan. Shame too, right up there with Even a Monkey Can Draw Manga and Ohikkoshi in terms of funnyness in my book.

Really popular in China, taiwane and those asian country. There's A lot shin chan merchindise not close to doraemon but up there. My newphew has a lot of them.
Also Iron Wok Jan is now $3 only and they even add more title to the selection. From what I heard, it's a really good series so I order it.

Been meaning to check this one out for a while... is it as good as Samura's other fare? Storywise, I mean.
