I know I'm 19 and should have outgrown Pokemon by now, but I'm reading up on these and I'm very pumped. The Pokewalker and being able to have a Pokemon outside like in yellow sounds very good. I just love how they're taking a piece from all the games and putting them together. I am a tad disappointed because I was hoping It'd allow you to go from Kanto to Sinnoh (like in my dreams), but Kanto and Johto is good too. I just hope the inevitable Wii game they make with it is better than Revolution (I've never played it, but it sounds horrible). I'm hoping they get released here in the US soon after the Japanese release.

Oh I might be 21 by the time these games come out but I am overly excited to, which I find to be pointless to some extent because I still have the original GSC trilogy, but I just can't not get these when they inevitably come to America. I love all the music in those games too, I was over the top excited for like a week after a friend linked me this song. My big question is if they've announced if they're letting evolutions in, like they didn't with the Fire Red/Leaf Green remakes until you got the national dex (example: my Golbat wasn't allowed to evolve, would the same thing occur with getting Bonsley or Honchkrow?)
Why don't they just give us Snap 2? It'd work on the Wii and I'd buy it. And even though you've never played it, I think you're right on Battle Rev, if you wanted to see your Pokemon battle in 3D, fine, but dear lord was is a bore fest otherwise. |

This site has a lot of info on the two games. I didn't see anything about evolution, though. I don't know if that means they don't know or that they didn't change anything. I used to avoid Pokemon who had difficult evolutions until I discovered that Wi-Fi cheat
 . I don't think the Nat'l dex evolutions are all that bad considering how easy it is to obtain.
Snap 2 would be fun as long as they make it much longer than the first one. I mean, after the 50th time you hit that Magikarp with an apple and made it evolve into Gyarados, it got kind of boring. A Stadium 3 would be much more welcomed in my home, though. The reason I won't play Revolution is because it doesn't give you goals and trophies like Stadium did (at least from reviews I've seen). My Dream game: It's like a combo of Colosseum, all the hand helds and Super Smash Bros. A 3D RPG that takes you through all of the regions, but the battles are in fighting game style instead of turn-based. I'm surprised that hasn't been been yet to be honest. I thought they would've done that with the Gamecube years ago. I mean, it'd basically be SSB except there's 400 characters and they're all Pokemon. |

I've always wanted a Pokemon game like that as well, it would be so much more fun than a turn based game. I mean, I love some turn based games, but the Pokemon ones get to be extremely repetitive eventually. |
