Another great installment. Slightly less good than the first, but enjoyable, all the same. I truly like how Hitoshi Ariga incorporates the game plots, etc. in a good manga-story format, and in the same chronological order as the games. Although it's said there'll only be 3 volumes, I hope that, if there are more in Japan, or could be, that they be brought over ASAP. We are already up to Mega Man 10 in the game-continuation of the original series, after all. I also hope that this could be made into an anime series at some point, as this manga is WAY better athn the kiddle MM toon from the 90's.
Questions: 1) Did Skull Man die at the end of "Grim Reaper of Resurrection"? I thought that Cossack and his robots were going to accept him, but he's laying in a bed of flowers in the final page of the story. 2) What's the name of Wily's pet black robot-bird shown here? I forget, but he must have appeared in one of the games originally. 3) Near the start of "Power Battle", Roll recognizes the Dark Man 4 robot as some "newspaper guy" she saw before, but I can't find that in any of the other stories. 4) I'm right that this volume only did stories of/relating-to Mega Man 4, 5, and Soccer, right? Wily did appear in his Mr. X disguise (from MM6) somewhere, and Bass & Treble were shown (first appeared in MM7), but none of the Robot Masters from MM6 and up appeared, as I recall. 5) Are the Soccer stories still in-continuity with the main storyline? It was said that the Soccer one was published in 1994, while the other stories (and those from Vo.1?) were published in 1996, which may lead to why the original Robot Masters were brought back in the main stories, since they were already players in Soccer.
