e.g. Broken Blade (movie series), The Garden of Sinners (movie series).

Since these are just Movie entries with "series" tacked on manually, it is not currently possible to create a standard episode list.

There also seems to be some confusion as to runtime - for manga page counts the average is to be taken, but the current instructions for runtimes only takes episodes of equal length into account.

How common are these? I know of these two, obviously, but are there others? And runtime per movie can fluctuate wildly. IIRC, Garden of Sinners has movies under an hour and over two.

Would the Eva reboot count? Or are these meant to only apply to properties where the only animation is a sequence of movies? Mardock too.

The Eva movies, IIRC, are each being listed separately. I'm wondering if instead of listing movie series under a single entry, they should be listed separately, and use an omnibus entry to list all of them?

If not, at what point do they stop being individual movies and start being a movie series to list together? Eva is 4, Broken Blade is 6, Kara no Kyokai is 7...

My impression is that movie series is used only for things that had multiple parts released in quick succession. I'm guessing that the movie series entries are things that are made as one continuous production (though I'm not certain of that). If that is the case, I don't think something like the Evangelion movies would get a movie series entry, as they are being released a few years apart.

Ditto. A live-action analogy would be comparing an HBO miniseries (e.g. Band of Brothers) with The Lord of the Ring trilogy.
