whhos bright Idea was it to remove the "reply to thread" button when they set this place up? What POSSIBLE function does not having a reply button serve? I mean, its not that hard to reply to the posts themselves but still... Why not leave the reply to topic button alone?

Did I miss something? I see plenty of "Reply" buttons; in fact, I used it when I wrote this post. If yours is gone, it might help to note the conditions of its disappearance.

I'm reffering to the BIG one above the thread that all PHPBB forums have by default. I'm kinda interested as to why it was taken off. I mean... just a question.

It's because ANN decided to allow threaded and flat views. The result is that you reply to a post rather than to the entire thread. I don't like it either, but I'm not in charge.

I realize people like "reply to topic" but seriously, it's not like you lose any functionality.
