Has this show been licensed? I read somewhere it has but I'm not sure.

Media Factory is the company that holds the Japanese copyright - they sent out cease and desist letters on their properties... however it has not yet been licensed for U.S. release.

It has been said that it might never be licensed because it isn't the kind of anime mainstream anime fans like (Usually these fans like DragonBall, Inuyasha, Rurouni Kenshin, and Yu Yu Hakushou).
Oh, and just for the record, I like KGNE, but I also like Inu-Yasha and like Rorouni Kenshin somewhat. |

Funny this topic was brought up, because I was just browsing for the R2 DVDs at one of the import places before coming here.
It would seem that, if you are truly interested in this series, your only option is to purchase the R2 DVDs, since Media-Factory will not allow their property to be fansubbed. Other than that, I'm not seeing any other options, here. |
