Is this follow the events after the Frontier series or the movie?
Either way, the storyline might be a bit flimsy since it incorporates all the main characters from the canon Macross timeline. |

I think its hard not to say its canon. Movies are certainly not canon.
Movies versions are the compressed versions with the alternate ending. Though its up to the company producing this stuff who want to say so certain what the final say. Macross: Do you Remember Love? was in-universe movie from what i've read last time. There wasn't enough time i would think to actually have this event to accrue during the television series, which to me at least and track record of franchise is usually is main-line canon story. I haven't watched the special except for trailer, i this special happens in movie version universe. |
