I guess FMA is a HUGE seller. Averaging, going from 5.4 million in a quarter to 5.7 million in 33 days means that their revenue really went from 5.4 million per quarter to 17.1 million per quarter. That is impressive growth.

Very nice. However, can these numbers be trusted?

Yeah I'm gonna have to agree with Joe Mello on this, it seems odd that Funi's numbers would increase by that much in such a small amount of time...

If those numbers are true, FUNimation will make $63,045,454.55 in a year

But since FUNimation made 5.4 million in the 1st quarter of the year, thats approx $59,178.09 a day. At that rate, FUNi would make $21.6 million this fiscal year.

Where do you people get $5.4 million a quarter ? I think you mistook an apple for an orange or rather one firm's sales for another firm's income.

In 33 Days FUNimation had $5.7 million in sales
In the same quarter NAvarre had $5.4 million in income (profit).

Sales - expenses = Income. (Pre tax Ebida, but that's beyond the scope of this discussion).

For the record, in 2003 FUNimation had $81.6 million in sales. So $5.7m is actually a decrease in sales. But you can't compare 33 days to an average. Sales over the year will vary considerably based on peak and low seasons, and the types of titles released.

Yup.

There's already suspision regarding Navarre's accounting practices. So people are paying very close attention to their earning reports, and any inconsistencies would do serious damage to the corporation. So unless they're trying to sink the company, I'd bet they were 100% "honest" (within acceptable accounting practices) in those reports.

But like I said, annual revenue probably doesn't equal 33 days revenue / 33 x 365.

Okay. I'll take your word for it, but you and I both know that there are some people out there who are either too stupid or too arrogant to know when to let up.

All right, then. Carry on.

Navarre is also being sued by 13 different companies regarding how it handled the purchase of FUNimation.
