Easy, go get Ninja Scroll, I love it (though don't expect much from its plot or drama and especially its dub).

Ow and I'm talking about the movie here, haven't seen the series, but I've only heard bad stuff about it. I can imagine though, without the high production values of the movie, there's not really much left to like about it.

Plenty of samurai animes but only a few ninja ones come to mind:

Well, there's Ninja Resurrection the worst rated title ever on this website and rightly so, and Wrath of the Ninja which I wouldn't recomend either. The story isn't all that great and the dub is terrible.

There's Jubei-Chan and it's sequel but those are more comedy than anything else it looks like. I haven't seen more than just a preview for them though.

Blood Reign: Curse of the Yoma is another, it's okay but not great, and quite short. Bloody too, but you'd kind of expect that from the title though. Wink

If you look through the Ns in the encyclopedia here you'll find a few others as well.

A good ninja anime I have found is Ninja Scroll. It is a series of movies that, of course, are about a ninja that is thrown into unique situations that test his morals and physical abilities... really cool sorry line and great animation(especially in the fight scenes).

2X2=Shinobuden.

It's completely on crack and off the wall, but if you're looking for some humour in amongst all the dark ninja anime out there, it's top-rate Very Happy

Roroni Kenshin (Samuri X) (Spelled Wrong Probably) this is a great action comedy series. Good plot and lots of emotion.

Bleach This is a samuri fighting anime that has a twist. With lots of comedy and a tonne of emotion. This is a samuri series where the people have "powers".

Shaman King This series isn't really samuri but it does have a lot of sword battles and eventully it gets to a point were it all seems like they are samuri's. But this is not a true ninja anime.
