Its so rare for the main character to rank #1 in their respective series. No joke, most polls I see the main character as like #3 or #5. Glad to see the main character as #1.
Regardless, my favorite is #6. I can't remember anyone's names because I haven't read this in a long time, but I remember her being my favorite right next to the main character.

Tell me about it. I'm reminded of Medaka Box, where the main antagonist was more popular than everyone else--by a landslide margin!

I thought Eggs Benedict was Erina Nakiri's not Megumi Tadokoro's. or am i wrong

The dishes were voted on separately from the characters, and then they put the characters of each popularity rank with the dish of each popularity rank (as in, most popular character is shown with the most popular dish, second most voted char gets second most voted dish). It has nothing to do with who made them, and quite a few of the top 10 dishes were made by Soma
