Okay I decided to check out this show on the Family network and well to say the least........I was a bit surprised with the show. It has a pretty decent storyline along with some interesting characters and entertaining races. I have actually enjoyed Oban-Star Racers for what its given me though there are some aspects of it that are pretty bad. Right now I only have 2 problems with this show: 1 is that the character designs for some of the aliens are just plain ugly, the only other thing that I have a problem with is the borrowed sound effects. I mean I am a HUGE STAR WARS fan soo hearing the podracers sound effects in this series was........irritating to me.
Well those are my thoughts on Oban-Star Racers. For those who have at least checked out this series I am wondering what you all think of it. |

I LOVE IT i looked forward to it since i heard of it when it was molly star racer. the character molly instantly drawn me in because of her outgoing attitude although i wish she could put it to use tospoiler[tell her dad she her daughter] the storyline is good and yes it focuses on racing but its more than that. its the relationship between her and don wei as well as her liking to prince aikka and her partnership with jordan. the star racers draw you in and the drama behind the scenes make you stay. in the animation aspect its good character design and coll 3d animation and the aliens being ugly....welll they ARE aliens. im so looking forward for tonights episode. |
