Something tells me this movie will suck even worse than the anime. I can't compare it to the game, though, because I haven't played the game.

it can't be more explicit than the OVAs,can it?it will probably be like the OVAs and not making the games' justice and giving the people unfamiliar with them the wrong impression they are just torture porn(in the Musume manga's case,torture AND porn...seriously,that manga was fucked up...)being rubbed in your face instead of worrying about building up the story,the characters and the horror.
I can't recommend the games enough,and if there are people who didn't feel encouraged to check them due to what they saw in these adaptations(especially the OVAs and the Musume manga...),don't worry,they are really worth it.
