So the extra is mostly about Hazuki? Really, who cares about her? I want to see more of Kumiko and Reina. I know, I know... their relationship is very likely nothing more than yet another queerbaiting stunt, but they are just so cute together.

More Euphonium cannot be a bad thing. This seems like a side story running parallel to the final episode, but... I refer you back to my first sentence.

I thought the extra episode would be a great excuse to have a beach episode of some sort but alas! 
Maybe this will close the loop in Hazuki's crush on Shuuichi. |

I want to see more of Hazuki, she was a really nice character! But I agree with you in the Kumiko and Reina relationship. They were the heart of Sound! And It was impossible for me not to ship those two.

This seems like a good extra episodes. What I want to know is when is PONYCAN USA planning to release the series on BD/DVD, and if they plan to dub it.
But she is such a cute and noble character. |

At the bottom of the article it says Pony Canyon intends to dub it. The big problem is that it is PONYCAN USA. As much as I liked the show, I won't be able to justify paying their prices.

I checked the link in the article, and it says that PONYCAN USA plans to dub Sound! Euphonium depending on its performance, but they have not officially confirmed a dub. My gut tells me that they will dub it, but I need confirmation from them. I liked this series a lot and plan to buy it. I can pay PONYCAN USA prices, but I hope they get rid of those ridiculous, giant DVD cases. |

I watched it and was kind of pissed off by the show.
Full disclosure, I was a former marching band geek in high school and I played the french horn. The horn section in Euphonium are given the worst depictions of any of the sections, (and especially any of the brass sections), showing them all to be lazy and goofing off all the time, if they even showed them at all. Grrr... |

Wonder how serious this 'wafer' episode will be since it's centered around Hazuki. Honestly, I wanted to see more of the upperclassmen like Asuka or at least a sequel film. Clutching my wallet once Pony Canyon announce the release date. *gulp*
