I personally was very let down by this one, not from a story perspective, but from an animation perspective and how they decided to deal with the evolutions...

As a whole I was fine with the animations this movie/4 ep batch....outside of the hilariously bad CGI for the cars and bikes. They were criminally bad.

Hmm.. I expected 3rd movie will be out in June-July.. guess my expectation is too high but still we do get an another movie this year Embarassed

Wait until the end of September for the next movie instead of summer? That sucks especially after that cliffhanger ending!

Anyways, the movie just raises even more questions that it has already captured my attention and I really enjoyed Mimi and Joe's development in this film and I can't wait to see the next film although the animation during the transformation needs some help though.

Sometimes, Toei doesn't give a shit about its properties...

I also disliked some of the CG evolution scenes. They looked horrendous. But they at least maintained most of the characters faces in place, so...

I honestly wasn't phased by the CGI digievolutions because I was still in shock over the cars wheels in the one scene. All the cars were CGI but that one wheel on the car...it wasn't even properly aligned.

I was seriously hoping that Leomon won't die because after watching him hilariously getting lovestruck from Meicoomon, i kinda saw a light of hope but......
