Mononofu is still around? I felt the series had potential, but that it'd be squarely rejected by the readership.

It had been getting mid to low ranks for a while and ended on Issue #34. It's a shame, I think Ikezawa has good ideas, as a huge fan of Hikaru no Go, I definitely would've liked to see a series about shogi grow big and successful, but apparently the WSJ readers aren't having it
