Yuya Yagira (Hijikata) gave out quite a tearjerking performance in "Nobody Knows" (Dare mo Shiranai).

So, we have Kamen Rider Meteor and half of Kamen Rider W in the cast. Not bad. Meteor was the best part of Fourze anyway, so...

Given that the film's director has great background when it comes to comedy, I will be slightly disappointed if they won't do a Kamen Rider joke somewhere. |

wow i didn't expect THOSE cast list! all are bishonen and bishojo.
So we'll finally see live action Shinpachi other than Daisuke Sakaguchi himself Masami Nagasawa and Kanna Hashimoto are both gorgeous. |

I'll miss their voices, but I like the cast. I really hope they make a good film. If they did, there might be more films with the main story. I can't wait!!!

If we're talking Fukuda regulars, I'm a little surprised Tsuyoshi Muro is playing Gengai, rather than Jiro Sato (Buddha in the Hero Yoshihiko, the Store Manager in Mr Nietzsche in the Convenience Store)

I love their casting choices!!!! I've been a fan of Gintama for over 6 years so happy to get this movie! Omg I loved Yuuya Yagira in Blue Blazes. If they make the movie with comedy as good as Blue Blazes (since it has the same director) I'll be in love with the film. With other anime series I think making a live action movie can be risky, but with Gintama I feel that they can do anything and I'll still love it lol. (at least for comedy scenes, hopefully drama/fight scenes are good too)
Btw the guy who is playing Kondo played a role in the Shinsengumi! drama tv series which was part of the inspiration of the Shinsengumi in Gintama. |
