Somehow, the trailer makes me think more of "primetime TV show on a major network" than "movie." I think it's because it's full of close-ups and medium shots, the rather rapid pace of the trailer, and the high-contrast lighting.

(Note that when I mean "primetime TV show on a major network," I'm talking about US television, particularly the special effects heavy ones like Once Upon a Time, Supergirl, or The Walking Dead. And yeah, I know a live action Death Note TV series already exists, but this looks more in the primetime style than that show.)

Suffering is not exclusive to ugly people.

I meant it in the way that shinigami aren't meant to enjoy their life, and beauty is a part of that, just look at where they live and what their existence has resorted to. A beautiful shinigami make as much sense as an ugly angel.

Are the other two movies before it necessary to watch before this one because I heard the plots are different than what's in the manga and anime? If so, better track these bad boys down!
