The manga-ka is definitely showing signs of a "Nausicaa: Valley of the Wind".

Yeah, this looks like someone tried to imbue Miyazaki's manga-style art with 21st century sensibilities. It makes me a bit queasy to think about it. Miyazaki once criticized Japan's modern artists as the "copycat generation", and this ironically kind of bolsters that notion.

"Nausica"+hunting for dragon meat=possible license here. Heck, the very idea seems perfect for a comedy anime or even a computer/video game.
