Cultural appropriation is never "funny".

It's good-spirited fun. Not sure why people have to be so caustic and overly sensitive about it.

It's mildly amusing, and not much different from the kids I knew in school that were really into DBZ. The guy is clearly a huge fan of the show, and it's always cool to see anime acknowledged by mainstream celebrities.

Because fans of cartoons having their childhood ruined by other fans is serious business.

I think it was funny! It was cheesy and a bit strange, but still funny! I have to assume he was having a lot of fun with it. I'm just curious about the reactions of the editors and the filming team during this; I hope they had some fun and laughs doing it.

I saw this earlier and personally thought it was cool, I think it's neat whenever mainstream media acknowledges anime stuff.
Is it cheesy? Sure but I think that's part of the charm, if the guy is a fan more power to him for showing his appreciation for something he loves.

Don't act like we all haven't tried to go Super Saiyan. He's just a huge DBZ nerd having fun.
