Was the original good by any means?
I wanted to get it with Aquapazza but they vanished in the PSN.

Despite some hilarious spelling errors, I thought it was one of the best PS3 console-exclusive fighters. Great characters, a surprisingly good control scheme, and a cool old-school NEO-GEO sort of vibe to the visuals. (I'd link you to my review, but the bastards at EGMNOW took down our Program Partner site )

Well, in a sense, yes, despite some spelling issues that SNK would give credit for, lol.
Also, the PS3 version is still on the PS Store. All I can say is yeah, the newer version is going to be better.
