Wow such a surprise character! Nobody saw Trunks coming Rolling Eyes

Now how about they tease some less likely characters like Yamcha or Chichi.

I'm cool Chi-Chi being in Dragon Ball FighterZ. She was in Super Dragon Ball Z all those years ago.

Honestly, I'm hoping the devs go SUPER duper hard with this and include equal to or greater than the # of playable characters in BT3. Which in my opinion and in the opinion of a lot of other fans, is the best DB game ever.

This looks great though. It's like Super Sonic Warriors but on PS4 Cool

BT3 had a huge roster, sure. However, all of the characters fell into the same handful of archetypes, so they all felt exactly the same. You can't do that here. Dragon Ball FighterZ is a hardcore fighting game. The amount of work that goes into creating one character is insane. The roster will likely be around 25-30 characters, given that it's a 3v3 game.
