Please be a show worthy of your gorgeous animation.

Just like their other originals like Kyokai no Kanata and Musaigen no Phantom World, right?

They were not original though ? Just like Violet Evergarden.

This looks really good.

I'm not confident but I really hope Netflix reconsiders their nonsensical streaming schedule by the time this starts. I think I speak for a lot of people when I say that I'm not just going to wait for them.

A few hours, a few days, whatever. But when it goes into weeks and months I'm just gonna give up and track down the fansubs.

Yeah, I don't think being original has anything to do with those shows having good animation.

K-On! (Particularly Season 2 and the movie) and A Silent Voice are probably their best looking titles and both of them are based on manga.

Agree, and I'd add Hibike Euphonium and Nichijou to the list too and those are also based on a LN and Manga (just like pretty much all their other shows). So I'm really not sure what the user was trying to say.

I'm also really curious what Netflix is going to do with this anime. I really don't want them to ruin the experience with the anime.

Well they've demonstrated their idiocy once more when they chose to have it stream normally in Netflix Japan(Weekly) this coming Winter 2018 while leaving the international one to dry at Spring 2018.

Am I the only one keeping expectations kind of low, but hoping to be pleasantly surprised? Yes, the animation is gorgeous, but so many gorgeous looking anime end up meh when it comes to the story - often these SUPER DRAMATIC anime series end up not making a lot of sense or being too melodramatic.

"Idiocy" is putting nicely considering they do this quite often.

You know, if the show turns out to have a dull and mediocre, or bad story, it´s not a bad idea that Netflix chose it and it doesn´t receive any popularity, since we don´t need another show that´s only good in the visual department, and sells like hotcakes because of it. Reconsider your expectations, or have you read the novel and can tell me why I have to be hyped for this?

This looks beautiful. I don't know about anyone else, but I'm not going to wait until Netflix pulls its head out of its ass and learn to start simulcasting.

SkerllyFC07, I haven't read the novel. I was applying my post as a general point concerning Netflix's binge-watch practices.

A post where you admit to not having read/watched the source material and that doesn't actually discuss the topic at hand. A bad habit of yours. Please don't start making lots of those kinds of posts again.
