This is awesome news. Shinkalion has been one of my guilty pleasures (probably because I'm a tetsudo otaku) since it began airing in January. I wonder if this means later on in the series we are going to see a 500-kei Hello Kitty Shinkalion?
Considering the 500 is my favorite shinkasen with only a few sets still running in Kodama service and slowly those are being displaced by 700 Hikari Railstars, N700A/a, the Shinkalion 500 may outlive its real life counterpart at this rate. Now.. the real question is, when do we get to see L0 Shinkalion? |

Shinkalion seems like perfect anime for me. Trains and mecha, what more anime fan who is also train fan could ask for? Too bad the crossover with Evangelion, as well as previous crossover with Vocaloid, will make it very hard, if not straight impossible to license in west, as is often the case with anime crossovers
