2014? wasn't it released in 2016? =/ I made my account around the time it came out but my phone at the time couldn't handle it and it says 2016..

It is released in July 2016 indeed, don't know why it stated as released in 2014.

There were Pokemon mobile games released before Pokemon Go debuted in 2016. So between 2014 and now there have been almost 640 million installs between all games, noting that 550 million of that total number stems from Pokemon Go. Nowhere is it mentioned the game came out in 2014.
