----------------------------------

I actually started buying the manga a little over a year ago, but never started reading it, yet, as I heard there was a possibility of an anime getting made. I usually prefer anime over manga, because you get the great things like music, voices, color, animation, etc. to really give a great presentation of the story. Obviously, not every adaptation will be perfect because of filler, deviations, or bad production value. But for the the most part, a lot of 'em tend to be pretty accurate and look okay.

My one exception for preferring manga over anime, though, is the art. Some artists' and manga-ka's styles simply can't be replicated (Miura, Murata, and Oh! Great, to name a few). From what I've seen of Urasawa adaptations, they tend to be pretty good (although, Keaton could use a facelift). And this will be my third adaptation of his, after Monster (I've only seen a small handful of Yawara), so, I'm pretty excited to see the kind of suspense he and Nagasaki have written, which has been, hopefully, well-realized.

Since they're hour-long episodes, I've divided each one into parts, like I'm doing with movies. Rumor has it they're releasing all episodes in one go, which will make progressive discussion difficult to keep track of, since people can just binge the whole thing. Unless you guys wanna' try to organize a thing where we just self-enforce a "episode-a-week" rule.
