Manga adaptation got to first-timer 3DCG animation studio which isn't Orange.

And for more fun, we get Danberu anime at the same season with literal comparison how good can be Kengan designs in normal 2D. That's even more bigger yikes.

Okay now they are actually showing off the tournament.

I’m gonna make a guess & say the season’s gonna end by the start of the second round.

Damn though they already got the English Dub ready, that was fast.

Yeeesh that animation though, Wakatsuki’s gut punch does not look as spectacular as it did in the manga.

Danberu is not as intense in the choreography department. There's so many fights in this series, and in quick succession. Even in Baki there's decent breaks of nothing happening.

With anime budgets getting smaller for some reason, this makes sense. Tho, to be fair, if Netflix concentrated its vast budget on a few series rather than flooding the platform with content, hoping something stuck, they wouldn't have that issue.

Well, since they are debuting the Eng. dub and Eng. sub the same day, it would make sense for there to be various simuldub recording sessions.
