Very ncie learning that about andersen, I feel like re-reading,or at least rethinking his works.

It's not really relevant to Happy Sugar Life, but feet also feature quite a bit in Andersen's stories, more likely because his father was a shoemaker than because he had a thing for feet.  Inger steps on a loaf of bread to keep her shoes clean, Karen has to cut off her feet to get the red shoes off, the Match Girl has no shoes that fit in winter, the Little Mermaid feels like she's walking on knives when she gets her feet...
