Have we learned nothing from Nagi no Asu Kara and Anohana? Hard no for me. No way. I don’t trust the director to stop Okada shenanigans. Her work is excellent when it is not romance and is constrained by firm directorial oversight.

If by “we,” you mean you and “leaned nothing” means realizing that people enjoy her stories and letting her make more is a successful business venture then I suppose that is true.
Pretty sure that her “shenanigans” was the intention behind the creation of this film to begin with like the rest of the anime she worked on for the last five years.
So never excellent then (Slightly joking/tongue-in-cheek here). |
