So this only covers mechandise sales (for FUNimation and Crunchyroll), and does not include revenue from streaming subscriptions right? If that's the case, I wonder what's the source of CR's revenue for retail/merch.

You're correct.

A huge part of that most likely comes from their online store (https://store.crunchyroll.com/), as well as the merch sold exclusively at various conventions, such as Anime Expo (https://www.crunchyroll.com/anime-news/2019/06/16/crunchyroll-reveals-exclusive-anime-expo-fashion-and-merchandise-collection).
