Interesting that this is a new Aniplex license getting an LA dub instead of going to Funimation. Kind of curious how that was decided.
I'm happy it's getting dubbed though and the cast seems good fit for their characters.

My guess is that there is some kind of deal between Aniplex USA and Crunchyroll where the latter might have paid for exclusive streaming rights of the subbed and dubbed versions. I would not be surprised if Crunchyroll paid for the dub. A dub from Funimation would not make much sense in this scenario.

Yeah, it's kind of funny in contrast to his much more higher pitched roles.
He actually joked about doing a Ray Chase impersonation with it  .
