I loved Devilman Lady and I am glad that more people will be able to watch it, but... There are serious problems:

1 - The first episodes are rather weak, and most importantly...

2 - Some aspects of its storyline DID NOT AGE WELL! AT ALL!

If any Eastern Star/Discotek reps are reading this, I'd like to say two things:

1) I love your company

2) Any chance of licensing the Library War: Wings of Revolution movie to go along with the TV series you have already released? The fact it has not already been done makes me think there is probably some sort of obstacle that is beyond Discotek's control.

So is this the third modern Conan dub, alongside Zero the Enforcer and the special?

I think so. Mine are still on route, so can't say how well the new dub is just yet. But given they are releasing another one, one can presume that the first two sold relatively well? Even if it was prescheduled regardless of sales, it probably still is a good sign that they are releasing more CC/DC films.

I wonder if the Devilman Lady anime being available again will prompt some people to check out the manga and discover that they are not at all prepared for it.

How so? It's been a long time since I last watched Devilman Lady. 10 years, in fact.

Way to make me feel old.
