What's with the World of Warcraft ad running every 10 seconds?! I understand you need the paid advertisement's money to run the site but this is too much. I'll stop using ANN right now.

Hi,

We don't sell ads directly to clients. There are networks that place the ads on our behalf, and what I see in Canada is different from what you see in France.

We definitely don't want any obtrusive ads on the site that will drive you, or any reader, away.

Can you tell me about the World of Warcraft ad? Where on the site is it appearing? What do you mean "every 10 seconds"? (is it a video?).

Okay, with the help of some other readers, I've been able to track down the ad and I've messaged the network responsible asking them to remove the ad.
