I hope he's okay, because deactivating his account is really strange. Unless be doesn't want to be bothered.

Doesn't help that he has dilated cardiomyopathy, either.
Man.

If I was his colleagues, I would be getting in touch with anyone who might be able to visit him and make sure he's doing okay. It could just be he wants to block out fan backlash, but you never know how someone's mental state might or might not cope with that situation. Better safe than sorry.

Anyway, I really hope he's okay. He was radio silent for quite a while on social media until Day I Became a God came out, so it's sad to see him disappear again. I used to wonder about him a lot, with his heart condition and all.

If his twitter is deactivated, pretty sure there are people aware of the situation and taking some action.

Remembering his heart ailment, this is a concerning tidbit of news to come out...

He was pretty swarmed by angry JP fans who disliked his last series. So maybe he just got tired of it.

I think he is probably just hiding from the general public given how terrible a job he did, and he clearly has not learned from Charlette, and managed to make an even worse story this time.

Charlotte was atleast partially the studios fault meanwhile this is ALL ON HIM.

I am sure he is actually ok.

Actually, this is the third time he's done this to a Twitter account. But I do hope he's doing alright!

It's always been on Maeda. Angel Beats, Charlotte, and Kamisama were all written, planned, and scored by Maeda. The difference between them is: one of these had Seiji Kishi, a well-versed director, helming the series; the other two had Yoshiyuki Asai, whose only other work is Fate/Apocrypha.

It also doesn't help that these production committees seem keen on keeping his series 12-episodes, which isn't Maeda's style-- his entire career has been defined by long narratives exploring as much as possible without limitations.

Man works hard, people got mad and people reacted silly-- mix that with a heart condition that has a 50% five-year survival rate and... yeah.

Given his current health condition, there may be other reasons for him deactivating his twitter account, but hopefully he's doing well and we'll hear from him again soon enough.
