Damn, that's really sad to see. I hope they can get things back on track. I wonder what seems to be causing these extended issues. Are they having issues with vaccine distribution or something?

The best guess is that the government of japan is a bunch of incapable "idiot" who don't know how to be efficient with vaccinating japanese citizen.
Seriously I am curious to know how they deal with Covid ?

Talking to some of my friends there vaccination is pretty much at a standstill. Heath care and some 65+ have been vaccinated (mostly those in nursing facilities) but that is pretty much how far as it's gotten. They have administer over 10 million doses but given 2 shots per person only 4% of the population has been vaccinated. They are saying at current rates it will take about 70 days to reach only 10 percent. Those hoping for Olympic games may as well forget that. I am expecting word of cancellation of that soon. People are still living lives working at home and using delivery meals while some of the younger are venturing out and we see the effects on those in the entertainment business as more positive cases are reported. One wonders why the government is dragging it's feet on this.
