Since the purchase I've had occasional, but repeated problems connecting smoothly to Crunchyroll's servers. In general I use a Roku device, but this morning when I tried to watch Fumetsu no Anata e, it took forever to load and would only play in spurts. I usually have more problems on Roku, to which I think Sony pays too little attention. So I switched to the CR app on my phone and Chromecast to send it to my TV. Better than Roku but still had frequent pauses and bumpiness.
If a service grows, you need to invest in more servers. It's not rocket science. That Sony seems to be falling behind on this basic aspect of running a streaming service makes me worry about the future.
