To this extent? I'd say it definitely is. This could legitimately make a run for Your Name and quite even possibly Mugen Train territory.

Especially considering that it will be released internationally soon, here in Latin America it will arrive in October according to some sources.

Ok, people need to chill the fudge out. It's not pacing anywhere near Mugen Train, which is still powergapping it (Mugen Train was at 15.7b with no holidays on the same weekend as OP hitting 9.2, and was at 20.4b by the end of its 4th weekend while OP will be at 10.9-11bish), and it probably won't go near Your Name either unless it develops some crazy mid-late legs (which is unlikely, but we are way too early in the run to tell anyway).
This isn't to take anything away from the crazy run OP is having, but I don't understand how people look at the numbers here and think it has a shot at Mugen Train, even though Mugen Train is pretty much pacing 2x of OP, and this is with OP debuting in summer (summer break is almost over)+having had all of obon+debuting in all formats, whereas mugen train debuted with basically no holidays (only its third tuesday) for a few months and only IMAX (it expanded later on), meaning if mugen train is pacing 2x OP already, it is quite unlikely that OP can play catchup later. Like, come on, set realistic goals instead of delusional ones.
