"Fight for justice" is certainly one way to describe what she does, I suppose.
This is actually more of a sequel than a remake, with the protagonist reviving in the modern day after the events of the original series. It has some nice art, and I think fans of other anthology-ish horror manga would enjoy it.
I'm a sucker for pun names, so I get a kick out of Misa Kuroi ("kuroi misa" = "black mass").
