You can only laugh at how often this exact plot has been used now. I mean, it could still be worthwhile if (especially) the writing and maybe the animation are good. An original plot isn't the end all and be all. But man, give us a small twist on the formula or *something*.

I'm inclined to agree that the concept seems very retread, but this season's The Too-Perfect Saint (and, to a much lesser extent, A-Rank Party) have proved that fresher variations on the concept are possible, so I'll at least give this one a chance.
