Hello, since a few days, more often than not, I am having Gateway errors, when trying to access to ANN from Europe.
I just when I use a VPN and change my location to not-Europe when I access without problem.

Anime News Network uses the Cloudflare proxy/cdn network to speed up and protect our site from attacks and spambots. So when you access ANN, the connection goes through Cloudflare. This page is displayed by Cloudflare and could mean that:
a) The ANN server you are trying to connect to is offline or overloaded (most likely)
b) There is a network problem between Cloudflare and ANN
c) There is a problem with the Cloudflare node you are going through

Details:
spoiler[Cloudflare message:
Gateway time-out
The web server reported a gateway time-out error.

Rest assured, it's not just Europe. It's happening in my country too, and no doubt everyone else across the world. Seems to be a problem with ANN's provider Cloudflare. It's been frustrating trying to access ANN over the last few days.

Yeah, I'm getting it bad in the US today. It took me several tries to get one post to go through.

Yup, it’s been really annoying having to constantly refresh to get through.

Sorry if people are already aware of what I'm about to say but, very often when I have trouble accessing ANN, I clear my browser of ANN cookies and that solves the problem. I generally have to do this every couple of weeks.

Clearing your browser cookies for ANN is a good solution to resolve access issues. It helps refresh your session and eliminates any corrupted or outdated cookies that might be causing problems. If you find yourself doing this every couple of weeks, it might be helpful to check if there are any specific browser extensions or settings interfering with your cookies.

Thanks for the tip, rafaelakutch, but I suspect this is very much an ANN site specific issue. It is the only site I deal with where I need to go through this cookie clearing exercise.
