I wonder if there is any data on how well the KimiPri finale was received. Because while it's important how many people watch a show, it's equally important if they actually like it. And from what I have seen around the web (and is reflected in my own opinion), the last few episodes in general and explicitly the finale had quite a few pacing problems. And although it's not entirely representative, the score over on MAL took a sharp dive after the final episode.

The reputation of Kimi Puri tanked in the west, but for Japan it was a smash hit. If you compare the ratings, there was a huge bump for the final episode. So many people tuned in to say goodbye. And Japanese fans are sad on social media. They arent ready to see it go they say.
