That's so sick! I'd do crazy things for the N64 games getting ported today.

A missed opportunity to not include the Sega Saturn version even if it's just NES and SNES. The Switch can do 8 players. I remember playing just 2-3 rounds at an anime convention in the mid 2000's and that was some of the best fun I've had with totally random people in my life time.

Pretty sure with the infamy of how difficult it is to emulate/port Sega Saturn titles that wasn’t intentional. But as you mentioned this collection is system specific there were Bomberman games on the Turbographx, arcades, & virtual boy that aren’t in this collection either.

Surprisingly, Sega Saturn is getting a lot of emulation headway compared to in the past. Same with N64. We are actually seeing a lot of N64 PC ports with StarFox 64 and Perfect Dark.

City Connection literally has an entire line of releases, "Saturn Tribute Series", that's literal Saturn emulation, and outside of some very minor lag (which is just inherent to emulation, no matter what) they're more or less just fine in delivering the games as they were.

As for why Saturn Bomberman wasn't included in this collection... I imagine it's because it's called Saturn Bomberman, not Super Bomberman. Also, Saturn Bomberman would be a perfect thing for City Connection to release under the Saturn Tribute Series.

There's no PC-88 or PC Engine games either. Seems like it's just the NES/SNES games.

Castlevania Advance Collection Contains three games that were on the Gameboy Advance and Dracula X a SNES game that unlike for example Contra 3 was never ported to the system.

The Dominus collection also contains two different versions of Haunted Castle the original notoriously being an Arcade game alongside the three DS titles.

So it’s not like releasing games that go against the theme of a collection hasn’t been done before.
