A majority of the shows they produced are on Crunchyroll, or involved Aniplex as a production partner so, this comes at no surprise.

Worth noting that Hana-Kimi this past Winter season is the "first" production from Hayate. A Returner's Magic Should Be Special S2 and Space Mercenary Isekai are the next two projects from Hayate.

From this end of things, I'd like to say, if they have money to buy studios, then they have money to do things like release shows on home video and not let that online retailer they bought die in front of us.

But I know, acquire things at the source and cut out competition so they won't have to care about things like that.

I thought joining the production committee would be the cheaper way to secure a show… but eh, what do I know.

Well renting a car is cheaper than owning the car, but at the end of the leasing you'll have to return it.

We’ll see if this goes better than the Ellation experiment. At least here they’re spreading the risk with another company.
