as as Dealer and cosplayer this year at otakon I can tell you this it was busy none stop, I did not even get away for any panels, I was able to get two hours each day for the cosplay photo shoots and autographs for a few of va but other than that it was really packed. But it was a good con this year, few mix ups but hopefully they can fix for next year

I'm not sure if they were expecting that many people (I remember when there used to be a cap a few years back), but you're right... Otakon was non-stop movement.
Yeah, there were some crowd control issues (seemed to be more with the panels and some of the screenings, but I didn't have much problem with getting from point A to B as I have in the past), and those need to be addressed for next year, but I was shocked by how well they did with 31K when compared to 3-4 years ago and it was a nightmare to make it from one side of the BCC to the others.
It's nothing short of awesome to see Otakon continuing to grow and improve every year. It keeps me coming back (only missed two so far )
