Here are the official 2007 inductees for the Japanese Anime Hall Of Fame that I created back in 2004 and would add 10 inductees of characters or shows relating to anime. The inductees had to have their first anime show aired in Japan no later than December 31, 2002 to be eligible to be inducted on this list.

Anpanman
Dr. Black Jack
Kira Yamato
Witch Hunter Robin Sena
Naruto Uzamaki
Tokyo Mew Mew's Zoey Hanson/Ichigo Momomiya
Tsukasa
Vash the Stampede
Rumina Asagi
Arsene Lupin III

You did the same thing two years ago so you could list some of your favorite characters with no apparent reason or explanation? Rolling Eyes

I fail to see where your point is. Please forgive my ignorance.

I guess I'll ask the obvious question and look like the moron but is there really such a thing as an "Anime Hall of Fame?" I've never heard of such a thing. I think the idea would be a nice one but I'm not sure how you'd make a real qualitative decision on who gets in since the results are really all just opinions. Sports hall of fames are mostly based on stats and figures the athlete has achieved in their career (right?) so I dunno how you could do that with anime. Unless you used dvd sales and tv ratings as qualifications on whether or not you got in. That doesn't seem exactly fair as many popular shows are only popular due to exposure and not real merit or quality so you're then back to the initial problem of how would you base how a title made it into such a thing as an anime hall of fame. My head hurts now. Confused
